Bristol Type 14 F2.B Fighter Royal Flying Corps Summer 1918
A two-seat biplane fighter, designed by Frank Barnwell for the British and Colonial Aeroplane Company, it first flew in September 1916. Despite being a two-seater, the F.2B proved to be an agile aircraft that was able to hold its own against opposing single-seat fighters. Powered by 275 hp Rolls-Royce Falcon III engine, it could reach a maximum speed of 123 mph (198 km/h). Over 5000 F2.Bs were built and it remained in service until the 1930s.
